		<description>I think the mainstream perception is changing. It takes a while for these things to come around... but it is. If you talk to people who homeschooled in the late 80&#039;s, early 90&#039;s, you&#039;ll get a feel for just how stereotyped homeschoolers were. It&#039;s definitely better today.

The next time someone gives you a &quot;homeschoolers are weird&quot; line, ask them, &quot;So, you think I&#039;m weird?&quot; See what they say. If they say, &quot;Well, you&#039;re different.&quot; Try, &quot;Really? Well, then, I guess it doesn&#039;t matter then, that homeschoolers are weird.&quot;

Real, &quot;I don&#039;t feel threatened by you&quot; confidence befuddles people. And it&#039;s also respectful of them.
