Dan's wife probably thinks if she hadn't "died" she and Dan wouldn't have gotten together. I like the show and I think it would be great if sometime back in the past he ran into Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap. There is no denying the commonalities. Also, I think a lot of the trouble Dan has with his brother would go away if he just told him about the time traveling.
